Barely few hours after successful rescue of Oyo State School Children, Teachers, Woro Community, Kwara State appeal for rescue of the 176 women and children abducted over five months ago.
According to the appeal message, the Woro people lamented that
176 women and children, abducted over five months are still in captivity.
For more than five months, the women and children abducted from Woro community in Kaiama, Kwara State, have remained in terrorists' captivity, while their families continue to live in anguish and uncertainty.
The innocent 176 women and children are not just numbers—they are mothers, daughters, sons, and neighbours whose lives have been put on hold for over five months.

"We must not allow their plight to fade from public consciousness. Their safe return should remain a national priority.
"Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq must show urgency and serious commitment to secure their release. The Federal Government must act like it has on Oriire school abduction."
