Dangote Cement on Corporate Social Responsibility, Commissions Multi-Million-Naira Hospital in Kogi Community

Dangote Cement Plc, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has commissioned a multi-million-naira cottage hospital in Obajana, Kogi State, in a move aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and improving access to quality medical services for residents of its host community.
The newly inaugurated healthcare facility is expected to serve employees, residents of Obajana, and neighbouring communities by providing improved medical care and reducing the burden of accessing healthcare in the area.
The project is part of Dangote Cement’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, which focuses on promoting sustainable development through investments in healthcare, education, infrastructure, and community empowerment.
The commissioning ceremony attracted government officials, traditional rulers, community leaders, and top executives of Dangote Cement. During the event, some senior company officials were conferred with traditional chieftaincy titles in recognition of the company’s contributions to the socio-economic development of the Obajana community.
Speaking at the event, company representatives reaffirmed Dangote Cement’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of its host communities through impactful development projects, noting that the company will continue to invest in initiatives that improve the quality of life of the people.
The commissioning of the cottage hospital marks another milestone in Dangote Cement’s efforts to strengthen community relations while supporting improved healthcare services in Kogi State.
