Aikhoje, a distinguished alumnus of the University of Benin, has built an impressive reputation within Nigeria’s sports industry through years of innovation, strategic leadership, and commitment to promoting excellence in football and sports business.
He is the Founder of Sports Industry Awards Nigeria, Co-Founder of the League Bloggers Awards (LBA), and Chief Executive Officer of MatchRoom Sports and Media Limited.
Through these platforms, he has consistently championed initiatives aimed at recognizing outstanding achievements across the Nigerian sports ecosystem.
Widely respected for his expertise in sports branding, public relations, and football business development, Aikhoje has played a key role in elevating the profile of Nigerian sports through strategic media engagement, stakeholder collaborations, and innovative sports marketing campaigns.

The event forms part of activities lined up for the hosting of the 105th Council Meeting of the University of Benin Alumni Association Lagos Branch, slated for June 11 to 13, 2026.
