Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries embarks on divine intervention against banditry

With full awareness of the potency of prayers, the General Overseer,
Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries worldwide (MFM), Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, resorted to divine intervention against banditry and all their effects.

Leading the congregation during the midweek Revival-Manna Water Service on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, the Cleric also led the members to pray for release of all kidnapped victims that are still in kidnappers' dens.

Olukoya expressed concern over the plight of citizens affected by insecurity and called on believers to seek divine intervention for the nation.
   

Preaching on the  topic, "Violent Spiritual Practices to Defeat Violent Problems", part  three, he quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14, which emphasised the importance of prayer, repentance, and dependence on God for healing, deliverance and recovering.

According to  him, prayer remains a powerful tool for confronting difficult situations, for total deliverance and for  restoration of  lost blessings. He charged  worshippers to pray earnestly for peace, justice, and the safety of all Nigerians.

During the prayer session, members offered various prayer points, including requests for God’s protection over citizens, the release of those held captive, the exposure of criminal activities, and the restoration of peace across the country.

Special prayers were also offered for the rescue of abducted persons and for divine wisdom and strength for those working to address the nation’s security challenges.

  The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has released the full list of 16 officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria who were indicted by a Special Investigative Panel over allegations of serious misconduct, including an alleged plot to overthrow the government of President Bola Tinubu. The Director of Defence Information, Major General Samaila Uba, disclosed on Monday that the panel had concluded its investigation and found that several of the officers had cases to answer. The federal government has declared Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, 2026, as public holidays to mark Eid-ul-Fitr.
