Industry's Top 50 Men of Impact 2025 Revealed

 




The Industry Newspaper is pleased to reveal the top 50 men of impact 2025, recognizing their outstanding contributions and achievements in their respective industry and field from integrated marketing communications, entertainment, banking, telecommunications, healthcare and wellness, entrepreneurship, tech, and energy, media, journalism and project management sectors.


The honorees will be celebrated at the Industry's Men of Impact 2025 event on November 4, 2025, at Radisson Blu, Isaac John, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.


The theme for this inaugural edition is titled: "Empowering Men: Achieving Balance in a Fast-Paced World."


The presentation will be preceded by a panel session that will look into the theme.


The event is expected to be attended by Mr. Udeme Ufot, GCEO, SO&U, Rufai Ladipo, GMD of Agile Communications, Mr. Jimi Awosika, EVC, Insights Redefini, Mr. Funmi Onabolu, CEO, Cosse LLC, Mr. Muyiwa Kayode, CEO, USP Communications, and Sir Steve Omojafor.

  The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has released the full list of 16 officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria who were indicted by a Special Investigative Panel over allegations of serious misconduct, including an alleged plot to overthrow the government of President Bola Tinubu. The Director of Defence Information, Major General Samaila Uba, disclosed on Monday that the panel had concluded its investigation and found that several of the officers had cases to answer. He said the affected personnel would now face a military Court Martial in line with established procedures and extant regulations. Major Gen. Uba said the investigation examined the circumstances surrounding the conduct of the officers and identified actions that were “inconsistent with the ethics, values and professional standards expected of members of the Armed Forces of Nigeria,” stressing that the process was purely disciplinary and aimed at preserving internal discipline, cohesion and operational effectiveness. Just-In, FG Declares Thursday, Friday Public Holiday For Eid-ul-Fitri

The federal government has declared Thursday, March 19, and Friday, March 20, 2026, as public holidays to mark Eid-ul-Fitr. A statement on Tuesday, 17 March, by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Mrs Magdalene Ajani, urged Muslims to sustain the virtues of love, generosity, peace, tolerance, and sacrifice emphasised during the holy month of Ramadan. The work-free days were declared by government to celebrate the end of the 30-day Ramadan fast observed by Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe. The statement issued today said, the minister of Interior, Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who declared the holidays on behalf of the federal government, extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
