Brand stakeholders have described transformative growth  in Kaduna State under Senator Uba Sani as the best Public Relations that speak volume of  itself.

Additionally, they admitted that
the "Center of Learning is clear  as Kaduna is no longer a state defined by its past hurdles, but by its future potential. Through deliberate branding backed by verifiable infrastructure, Senator Uba Sani is proving that good governance is the best PR a state can have."

For years, the narrative surrounding Kaduna State was dominated by headlines of challenge and volatility.

But nowadays, that narrative is being systematically dismantled and replaced with a brand identity centered on innovation, rural integration, and human capital development.

Under the leadership of the Executive Governor of the state, Senator Uba Sani, Kaduna State is undergoing a holistic brand transformation.

This shift was recently validated by the National Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) during a comprehensive facility tour led by the 2026 NIPR Week Organizing Committee Chairman, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya.

"Before we arrived, the external story of Kaduna was often negative," Badejo-Okusanya remarked. "But what we have witnessed, from top-notch skill acquisition hubs to massive rural infrastructure and improved security, proves that Kaduna is not just on the right path; it is setting a new pace for sub-national governance in Nigeria."

A core pillar of the "New Kaduna" brand is the democratization of quality healthcare. The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Umma Kaltume Ahmed, revealed a radical shift in service delivery.

Upon assuming office, Governor Sani ended the practice of Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) closing at 3:00 PM, mandating 24-hour operations across the board.

Kaduna now stands as the only state in Nigeria boasting 255 fully functional PHCs, equipped with staff quarters and powered by sustainable solar energy. To sustain this, the Governor has allocated 15% of the state budget to the health sector, equalized the remuneration of state health workers with Federal Government standards to curb brain drain.

At the Balarabe Musa Skill Acquisition Centre in Rigachikun, one of three specialized hubs across the senatorial districts, the state is industrializing talent.

Accredited by the NBTE,  the centre,  these state-of-the-art facilities feature ICT labs, welding workshops, and textile departments designed to train and empower 32,000 youths annually.

Hon. Ahmed Maiyaki, Commissioner of Information, noted that this is a strategic brand move to "reduce insecurity by replacing hopelessness with high-value skills."

The administration’s "Rural Transformation" brand is best exemplified by the 35-kilometer Gadan Ganyang-Gwaraji road. This project connects 66 farming communities that were previously cut off from the urban economy. By building bridges where none existed, the government is physically linking farmers to markets, students to schools, and patients to clinics.

Kaduna is also redefining urban logistics. The newly conceived Southern Terminal is a multi-modal hub featuring fire stations, police posts, mechanic workshops, and motels for drivers.

Furthermore, the state’s intervention in public transport has been a masterstroke in brand loyalty.

Despite global fuel inflation, Kaduna’s workers commute to work at zero cost to their pockets.

Also, Ahmed Maiyaki, Commissioner of Information, stated that strategic management of the transport sector has already saved the state ₦1.8 Billion.

Furthermore, in a move to position Kaduna as a premier destination for sports tourism, the state government has officially taken over the Ahmadu Bello Stadium from the Federal Government.

Plans are underway to expand its capacity from 16,000 to 32,000, positioning it to be second to the national stadiums in Abuja and rival the National Stadium in Lagos.
