The President of  food union,  National Union of  Food, Beverage and Tobacco Employees of  Nigeria (NUFBTE) Comrade Ibrahim Garba has  commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for having a listening ears to  the advice of the general public in halting the planned implementation of the ban on sachets, pet bottled hot drinks.


Likewise, he applauded National Assembly members and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for suspension of the implementation which would have created blink Christmas celebrations for all the employees and  employers of labour in the industry.


Speaking with allcitynews in his office, the food union helmsman reiterated his  commendation of the listening ears of  President Tinubu by suspension of  the planned nationwide implementation of the ban.


"President Tinubu has  saved millions of  employers and employees from having  bleak Christmas and New Year by giving  them hope and also giving assurance to  would-be investors that were at the verge of  discouragement due to unstable policies which have been affecting existing and new investors."

  The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has released the full list of 16 officers of the Armed Forces of Nigeria who were indicted by a Special Investigative Panel over allegations of serious misconduct, including an alleged plot to overthrow the government of President Bola Tinubu. The Director of Defence Information, Major General Samaila Uba, disclosed on Monday that the panel had concluded its investigation and found that several of the officers had cases to answer. He said the affected personnel would now face a military Court Martial in line with established procedures and extant regulations. Major Gen.
