NAFDAC calls on National Assembly to approve capital punishmen for fake, expired drugs dealers, finally cleared four storey house of re-labelling

National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has reiterated its call for capital punishment for fake, expired or substandard drugs to act as deterrent.
The Director of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate, Dr Martins Iluyomade who led the operation, finally cleared the whole building of the re-labelled drugs into 40 feet trucks for onward destruction.
Iluyomade, speaking on behalf of the Director General, Professor Prof Moji Adeyeye, the Director said the matter has already been tabled before National Assembly for adoption into law to deal with those who have been killing innocent people with drugs like is being done in Chinese government.
According to him, if and when Chinese could execute the people, found to have manufactured fake or substandard drugs in collaboration with Nigerians, were executed, their Nigerian collaborators should also be executed as they are also wasting innocent lives with their works, they are worse than boko haram.
"Today, we are faced with re-labelling of expired drugs. Imagine the harm such individuals are doing to millions of Nigerians. It is very disheartening to see people re-labelling drugs that expired since 2022 and 2024, even the drugs that were ban from Nigeria in the last 10 years are being are being recycled by them thereby killing innocent people with drugs resistances and expose such users to danger.
"By destroying their immune system with such outlawed or expired drugs they are destroying lives of innocent people, as such, they should also be killed to act is deterrent."
Just as Community Head of Ojo Local Government, the Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Muhibat Titilola Rufai who has renewed her plans to rid the community of dubious businesses also tasked CDAs to always compliment the state government in security and good governance by playing the roles of watchdogs in all areas.
The advice became imperative following the alleged operation of a warehouse, owned by Eze Indigbo where expired and outlawed drugs were being repackaged for sale to innocent people.
Condemning the criminal activities carried out that Mosafejo community in Ojo Local Government, in a four storey, made up of 15 flats for months, she commended police for their role they played in revelation of the evil works.

🟦BREAKING: In Ojo, Residents, Police Uncover Warehouse Owned By an Eze Indigbo Where Expired Drugs Are Repackaged For Sale
According to her, residents of Mosafejo community in Ojo Local Government uncovered a warehouse where expired drugs were being repackaged for sale as the c oncerned community members noticed suspicious activities and immediately reported the matter to the Ojo Police Station.
Following the report, "the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ojo police station and the state Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, visited the warehouse to assess the situation and ensure proper investigation.
"The building used for the illegal activity is said to belong to Eze Nkpado Olu of Imo State, a traditional ruler.
"The structure is a 15-block of flats. It was also gathered that the owner allegedly chased the tenants away about 15 years ago, claiming he intended to convert the building into a hotel. Residents noted that tiles and some building materials were stored on the first floor, while the other section was allegedly used for the illegal operation."
