Opening doors for all manners of breakthrough through master key of thanksgiving-MFM Agbede Region Ikorodu

That economic hardship has been biting hard on both adults and children across all sectors may no longer be news to Nigerians.  

But the fresh news is that there is an existing express way for everyone, which can use the  master key, known as thanksgiving and praise. It is the master key to unlock the doors for God's divine supernatural breakthroughs.

The leadership of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) 

Agbede Region 76 who  made this known, charged members and indeed human beings, to make it a habit to

 remain focused on God, the only source of all breakthroughs amid the challenges of fragile economy.

Speaking during the just concluded Annual Women Foundation Conference, with Theme:- "O Sing, Daughters of Zion," organised by MFM Gloryland Regional Headquarters, Lagos Region 76 Gloryland, 3/5 Okanlawin Street, off Olorogbo Road, Agbede,  Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria, on Sunday 19 November 2025,  Dr Mrs Shade Olukoya, the founder of the  arm of the Women Foundation, an arm of MFM worldwide, charged the participating men and women during the church service, to see  and use thanksgiving as weapon of victory and for testimonies, because thanksgiving carries weighter power than prayer in communicating with God. 

Dr Mrs Olukoya who was represented by Pastor Mrs Olakitan Wellington stressed that  "By praying, one  is asking God for something but in thanksgiving,  one is praising God for the past blessings,  the presence for the future blessings.  Thanksgiving which always  draws the presence of God.

According to Wellington, "I want to give you my own personal experience. When my children were at infancy stage, I will cook and serve all of  them. But my second son will always say "thank you my mother for  this food" as  such, I developed special interest in him, for this reason, I started giving him the biggest meat in his soup, and he will always say, "thank you ma". This is not favouritism, it was what he earned by himself. That was how he won my  heart hitherto,  though they are now young adults, yet I still favour him more  than the rest children.  This is how you all can use thanksgiving to unlock doors of breakthroughs. If a human being like me  can so appreciate the thanksgiving from my own son, then you can imagine how the Almighty God that inhabits the praises of his people will feel," she stated.

Earlier, the Pastor In-charge of the  Regional Headquarters, Pastor David Adelaja-Fredricks reminded the congregation that giving thanks and testifying to God’s goodness, no matter how insignificant the miracle may seem, attracts more of God’s divine attention than just asking and asking without gratitude. 

Quoting from Eph.5:19,20 which reads,  19. “speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 

20. “giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The R.O encouraged the people to learn to appreciate and thank God for everything in every situation rather than murmuring or complaining because, the Lord that always appreciate gratitude, knows and sees their situations, their battles and knows when and how he will step in to solve them.

Allcitynews discovered that the 2025 Women Conference was the first of its  kind that ever took in the church and also it took place within the first ten months of assuming office by Adelaja-Fredricks as the new R.O and council chairman of the Region.
