First HoldCo Plc announces unaudited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025, grows gross earnings to N3.4trn for year 2025

  Posted by allcitynews.ng  First HoldCo Plc has announced its unaudited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2025, reflecting a year of deliberate strategic actions aimed at strengthening its balance sheet, improving asset quality, and positioning the business for more resilient and sustainable growth amidst successful capital raise activities.   As stated in the unaudited Group financial statement, FirstHoldCo recorded a 4.8% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in its Gross earnings to N3.4 trillion, supported by a 36.3% y-o-y growth in net interest income of N1.9 trillion on the back of enhanced earnings yield and margins of 17.11% and 11.0%, respectively. Similarly, net fees and commissions improved by 18.7% y-o-y to N290.7 billion. These are clear indications of the strength of the revenue generating capacity of the core business which continues to be solid. Oladele Hands Over to New Federal Character Commission Executive Chairman, Omidiran

Kayode Oladele, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, formally handed over the affairs of the Commission to the newly appointed Executive Chairman, Hon. Ayo Hulayat Omidiran, at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja. The handover ceremony,  according to the statement signed by Office of Executive Chairman,  Federal Character Commission, came a few days after Hon. Omidiran was sworn in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last Thursday. Hon. Dangote Refinery reassures of its capacity to supply fuel volumes significantly more than Nigeria’s estimated domestic consumption

  .     Posted by allcitynews.ng   Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reassured everyone of its readiness to supply 75 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) daily against an estimated national consumption of 50 million litres, alongside 25 million litres of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) compared with an estimated daily demand of 14 million litres. It also has the capacity to supply 20 million litres of aviation fuel daily, far above the estimated maximum domestic consumption of four million litres. It reiterated the readiness to supply fuel volumes significantly more than Nigeria’s estimated domestic consumption.        By allcitynews.ng  The National Pension Commission (PenCom), in collaboration with Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs), is set to launch a self-service online data recapture application known as the Data Recapture Self-Service Platform (PENCAP) on 1 February 2026, in a move aimed at accelerating pension data validation and improving service delivery across the industry. It is  meant to allow eligible Retirement Savings Account (RSA) holders to update and validate their personal records remotely, without the need to physically visit their PFA offices. The platform specifically targets RSA holders who enrolled in the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) on or before 1 July 2019 and are yet to complete the mandatory data recapture exercise.
